Position Summary As a member of nginx software delivery team devops engineer maintains development and release engineering infrastructure and works on service level agreements, workflow optimization and in automation of recurring and repetitive tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or above) in Computer Science/related fields or equivalent professional experience
• Extensive hand on experience working with Linux and/or other unix variants.
• Good understanding of http, tls protocols .
• Experience with Web Applications, reverse proxy and load balancer s
• Experience with container and orchestration technologies and runtimes - Docker, k8s
• Understanding compute in public cloud platforms - GCP, AWS, Azure
• Experience with cloud Infra and modern CI/CD framework/tools - Terraform, Github , Gitlab etc.
• Proficiency in python , JavaScript or other programming languages and scripting.
• Experience with system integration, performance in hybrid and cloud environments
• Strong trouble-shooting skills

Responsibilities

• Implementation and maintenance of the CI/CD, product building infrastructure for nginx data plane and SaaS products.
• Backup and recovery design, configuration and monitoring .
• Automation of the routine procedures .
• Documentation of the existent and new infrastructure, procedures .
• Configuration and maintenance of the various tools like log aggregation and visualization, security scanners etc .
• Other team members code review
• Performance and functional issues troubleshooting both in the infrastructure and in the nginx products .
