Software Engineer Intern

About the position

Contribute to overall software development efforts for the service using programming languages like Java, Scala, Python and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases and AWS cloud service/tools. Supports deployment and testing of the service in multiple environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software development efforts using Java, Scala, and Python.
• Utilize Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Support deployment and testing of the service in multiple environments.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience using Java/Scala and Python.
• Knowledge of distributed data/computing tools like Apache Flink, Apache Spark, and Kafka.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Knowledge of shell scripts.
• Expertise in working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Expertise with container environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in working with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Gitlab and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Agile engineering practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
