Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern Software Engineer. In this role, the candidate may build software for air vehicle systems, ground systems, and/or modeling and simulation systems supporting production and research and development. Candidate responsibilities will span the full software development lifecycle, including requirements generation, software design and implementation, integration and test support. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of a variety of software programming languages and tools, such as C, C++, C#, Ada95, Python and Visual Studio. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an Interim Secret clearance required to start.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering with software programming coursework.
  • Experience with at least one of the following software development languages required: C, C++, C#, or Ada.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an Interim Secret clearance required to start.
