As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Lending Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of ETL workflows using Informatica and SSIS to support payment data integration and movement across enterprise systems.
  • Oversee and maintain CA7 scheduling of ETL and Informatica jobs, ensuring accuracy, performance, and timely execution of payment data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to validate, test and reconcile database transactions, ensuring integrity and compliance of payment data across multiple records.
  • Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis of ETL processes, database jobs, and data quality issues.
  • Create and lead the technical design and development of software solutions.
  • Propose & design software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Prepare technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Facilitate complex problem resolution.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Review coding, testing, and documentation of software.
  • 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience.
  • Knowledge of application development, business management, customer solutions, design, group problem solving, process improvements, release management, software solutions, and user experience (UX) design.
