You will be the Software Engineer, Modeling & Simulation for the Simulation & Systems Labs (SSL) which is responsible for... What You Will Be Doing As the Software Engineer, Modeling & Simulation you will be responsible for integration and troubleshooting of Shared Simulation Software (SSS) products in hardware‑in‑the‑loop and man‑in‑the‑loop lab environments, driving development and deployment of real‑time simulation capabilities. Your responsibilities will include: Design, develop, and integrate software for distributed, real‑time simulation systems. Execute integration and testing of SSS software across hardware‑in‑the‑loop and man‑in‑the‑loop labs. Apply simulation software engineering principles and technical concepts to reuse existing software and support digital transformation. Collaborate within an Agile, DevSecOps team to deliver high‑quality solutions that meet evolving customer needs. Requirements

  • Bachelor in STEM discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred) with a minimum of 2 years of professional related experience
  • Experience with software development in C++
  • Experience with software design/development/test/build/release
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA) / Object-Oriented Design (OOD) techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
