As a Software Engineer at Angle Health, you’ll dive head-first into building products that directly impact both our members and internal teams. This is a unique opportunity for a recent graduate to work across the stack on both frontend and backend and gain hands-on ownership across the entire product lifecycle in a high-growth startup. You’ll work closely with a mentor-rich team of product owners and engineers to bring new features to life and design products that delight users. This role is perfect for a self-starter who is eager to tackle complex problems in a fast-paced environment and wants to see their contributions directly impact the future of healthcare. This position is based in our NYC office.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience (internships, post-grad roles, or equivalent project work).
- A strong academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- A desire to connect engineering solutions to real-world problems, driving impactful outcomes for the company and its users.
- Strong foundation in designing and building web applications.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Python, React JS and TypeScript (Django is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills and the desire to work in a tight-knit, cross-functional team.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Java or other backend languages is a bonus.
- Experience with Figma or similar design tools.
- Passionate about mastering new frameworks and staying current with industry news.
Responsibilities
- Own full product lifecycles, from ideation and system design to implementation and iteration.
- Collaborate directly with the engineering team to build and maintain Angle's customer-facing and internal products, holding a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Drive technical projects and solutions that solve complex challenges.
- Write secure, performant, and well-tested code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
