Software Engineer (Remote - US)

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable full-stack web applications using Java, ReactJS, NodeJS, and SQL.
• Collaborate closely with architects to design a modern content management architecture.
• Integrate internal and external tools to enhance content structuring, delivery, and experimentation.
• Participate in Agile development processes, partnering with product teams to prioritize impactful features.
• Identify and implement new technologies or processes to boost development efficiency and software quality.
• Support the long-term scalability of systems by delivering modular, maintainable code and participating in architectural planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
• Strong background in Java, ReactJS, and NodeJS, with demonstrated experience in building scalable applications.
• Proficient in SQL and relational database systems.
• Experienced with Git or similar source control tools.
• Comfortable designing cloud-based solutions in AWS.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills.
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in a startup environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with headless WordPress, NextJS, GraphQL, and A/B testing platforms like Optimizely.
• Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Experience with digital ad platforms like DFP.
