Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Information Systems, a similar research-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, C++), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD degree in Research/Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with the Rust programming language.
  • Experience developing low-level systems software.
  • Experience with generative AI and AI agents.
  • Experience with Berkeley Packet Filter (BPF) and the Linux kernel.
  • Strong research publication record in systems, programming languages, or ML/AI.

Responsibilities

  • Write product or system development code.
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
  • Explore emerging technologies and systems as an individual contributor in the research and development team.
  • Operate across research and engineering teams.
