We are hiring a motivated Software Engineer to join the AI powered protection team for Endpoint DLP to help build a best-in-class data protection platform for Microsoft customers. Our team is dedicated to building fast, scalable, AI-powered Endpoint DLP protection experiences and capabilities that ensures reliable data protection and seamless customer experiences. This role is targeting an immediate start date.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• OR equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years

Nice To Haves

• Proven experience in designing, building and shipping high quality production products or services.
• Proven experience developing software using C++ in a production environment.
• Reliable communication skills across the team and company.

Responsibilities

• Designs and Implements customer facing data security capabilities that enable enterprise-grade features for the Microsoft Endpoint Data Loss Prevention (EDLP) product.
• Writes and learns to create code that is extensible and maintainable.
• Learns about and applies diagnosability, reliability, and maintainability, and understands when the code is ready to be shared and delivered.
• Develops an awareness of the current technology landscape.
• Escalates findings from investigations to team members for design decisions.
• Contributes to monitoring dependency status and ensuring that only the latest, secure versions are deployed.
