As a Software Engineer at MFC, you will join one of the largest networks of software professionals, implementing cutting edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms. Responsibilities

  • Develop Embedded Software
  • Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications
  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
  • Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
  • Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and must also be able to obtain an interim secret prior to start. Must be a US Citizen.
  • Experience with Embedded Software
  • Proficiency in C++
  • Experience with Linux OS
  • Knowledge of GitLab Pipeline
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with multi-core and multi-threaded C++ programming
  • Knowledge of hardware/software integration
  • Experience working in a large code base
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices
