We are seeking a software engineer with a passion for creating computer vision and AR/VR technologies. You will work on developing new situational awareness technology for military vehicles, collaborating with Ft Belvoir's C5ISR (DEVCOM) Command to create innovative solutions.

  • Develop and implement computer vision and AR/VR solutions for situational awareness in military vehicles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate new technologies.
  • Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in computer vision and AR/VR.
  • Document development processes, code, and project updates.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience programming in C++, C, or Python in a Linux environment.
  • Must be eligible for a US Secret Clearance.
  • Experience creating computer vision, AR/VR, or Extended Reality technology using Nvidia Cuda.
  • Strong grasp of vehicle system architecture and integration.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML techniques and applications.
  • Experience with Open Source YOLO.
  • Proficiency in GStreamer, FFMPEG, or VLC for video management.
  • Understanding of GPS PPS, PTP, NTP, IEEE 1588 protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with Ethernet switches, frame grabbers, ultra-high-speed camera systems.
  • Familiarity with RTOS or FPGA-based systems.
