As an Electrical Engineer, you will support the engineering team with the creation of design documentation, software specifications, and software development for Rod Control or Position products. Your responsibilities will include developing and supporting software source code for new and existing Rod Control or Position products, compiling technical documents and specifications for procurement/manufacturing of these products, and supporting the release of software for projects. You will also assist supplier and/or manufacturing operations with technical issue resolution, perform hands-on installation and troubleshooting of equipment on and off site, and support test document creation and test execution on New Stanton testbed equipment and production equipment.

  • Support engineering team with the creation of design documentation, software specifications, and software development for Rod Control or Position products.
  • Develop and support software source code for new and existing Rod Control or Position products.
  • Compile technical documents / specifications for procurement/manufacturing of Rod Control or Position products.
  • Support the release of software for projects.
  • Support supplier and/or manufacturing operations with technical issue resolution.
  • Hands-on installation and troubleshooting of equipment on and off site.
  • Support Test document creation and test execution on New Stanton testbed equipment and production equipment.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar is required.
  • Minimum of 0-3 years of engineering experience. New Graduate Engineers are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of LabView, C/C++, C#, and ladder logic strongly desired.
  • Awareness of field devices and control devices typical to the power industry is a plus.
  • Awareness of typical industry standard drawings including functional logic diagrams and panel layouts is a plus.
  • Knowledge of lab equipment use (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator, etc.) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD knowledge.
  • Strong organizational, planning skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong technical writing ability.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter.
  • Awareness of field devices and control devices typical to the power industry.
  • Awareness of typical industry standard drawings including functional logic diagrams and panel layouts.
  • Knowledge of lab equipment use (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator, etc.).
  • Base salary range of $58,400 to $73,000 annually, dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills.
