Software Engineer The Opportunity: As a full-stack developer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment. As a full-stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of the new sof tware applications modernized for deployment in Cloud environments to migrate existing GETS functionality. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing sof tware programming applications using Agile met hods
  • 1+ years of experience in sof tware development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
  • Experience with Agile met hodology, sof tware engineering, and sof tware products
  • Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
  • Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
  • Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Experience writing scripts and code to automate and record the results of tests of integration and interoperability between services
  • Knowledge of the development of test plans and verifying and validating the results of unit tests c ond ucted by other development teams
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
  • Experience with Red Hat, Windows Server, Oracle, J Met er, Jenkins, Swagger, Nexus, Apigee, GitHub, GitLab, or equivalent sof tware packages
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages such as Java, Bash, Curl, XML, JSON, SQL, or JavaScript, and C2S and data center operations
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services ( AWS )
  • Knowledge of sof tware accreditation and security procedures
  • Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
