Provides general computer and software development services to the department for the purpose of maintaining and upgrading the department's vast computer network. Job Description: Primary Responsibilities: Maintains current computational cluster in the department (essential) Develops computer software to maintain the computational cluster. (essential) Develops computer software to support new programs. (essential) oversees computer backup services on a daily and monthly basis. (essential)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required.
- 5-8 years related work experience required.
- Expertise in C/C++, FORTRAN, JAVA, UNIX, SOLARIS, LINUX, MACINTOSH, and WINDOWS operating systems.
- Advanced technical computer skills as required for technical support specific to functional area and related systems.
