About The Position

Duties: Lead the test and support of multiple lines of business' servicing applications to agent desktop integration using cloud API services, web applications, and Genesys routing platform and reporting. Lead the end-to-end validation of the Genesys Contact Center solution and associated Agent/Supervisor desktops and reporting applications. Execute software solutions and participate in design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems. Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development. Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems. Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture. Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies. Ability to understand and describe solution level problems and validate the solution by test automation with an end-to-end approach. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Project Manager, IT Consultant, or related occupation. Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: working with cloud platforms, telecommunications, and Contact Center technology such as Genesys; working with Microservices technology, application development, quality assurance testing, and operational stability; developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages including Selenium, JavaScript, Python, Bash, and Java; interacting with other Microservices developers, QA automation engineers, and other testers from cross-functional groups such as Integration Solutions Testing and User Acceptance Testing; manual testing with ADA and Jaws tools; utilizing best- practices for development of Web Services and Web components in a DevOps environment; working with Java and event-driven architectures based on distributed event streaming platforms such as Kafka; utilizing the Software Development Life Cycle; working with agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security; automation scripting using Selenium and Gherkin to integrate with Jules pipelines; ADA automation and validation using JAWS, NVDA, and AXE plugins.
