About The Position

Duties: Drive the design, development, and implementation of software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Lead code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Lead design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 7 years (84 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Front-End Developer, Technical Leader, Senior Software Engineer, or related occupation. Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Lead the building of front-end applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, SCSS, TanStack Query, and React Hook Forms; designing and developing RESTful and event-driven microservices using Java technologies, including Servlet, JSP, JPA, and JDBC, as well as database technologies, including relational databases Oracle and MySQL and object database Cassandra; conducting automated unit testing using Jest, React Testing Library, Junit and Mockito; conducting automated system testing using Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin; creating and maintaining DevOps pipeline using Maven, Webpack, Git, Jenkins, Groovy, Shell Scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, and YAML; preparing detailed technical design documents in UML; and SOLID design principles and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design; This position requires knowledge of the following: Authentication and authorization protocols including OAuth, OpenID, and Kerberos. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 7 years (84 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Front-End Developer, Technical Leader, Senior Software Engineer, or related occupation.
  • Experience with the following: Lead the building of front-end applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, SCSS, TanStack Query, and React Hook Forms
  • Experience with the following: Designing and developing RESTful and event-driven microservices using Java technologies, including Servlet, JSP, JPA, and JDBC, as well as database technologies, including relational databases Oracle and MySQL and object database Cassandra
  • Experience with the following: Conducting automated unit testing using Jest, React Testing Library, Junit and Mockito
  • Experience with the following: Conducting automated system testing using Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin
  • Experience with the following: Creating and maintaining DevOps pipeline using Maven, Webpack, Git, Jenkins, Groovy, Shell Scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, and YAML
