Asset & Wealth Management Division: Across Asset and Wealth Management (AWM), Goldman Sachs helps empower clients and customers around the world to reach their financial goals. Our advisor-led wealth management businesses provide financial planning, investment management, banking and comprehensive advice to a wide range of clients, including ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals, as well as family offices, foundations and endowments, and corporations and their employees. You will: Collaborate with a global cross functional team in building customer-centric products Analyze existing software to identify areas of improvement and provide estimates for implementing new features Follow standard software development guidelines and best practices Create and maintain test plans, documentation and automated tests for all technical changes Grow your technical skillset by seeking out cross-training and knowledge advancement opportunities Participate in user story refinement, technical design, code reviews and the team's Agile process Participate in continuous improvement efforts You are: Energetic, self-directed and self-motivated, able to build and sustain long-term relationships with clients and colleagues Open minded when approaching problem solving within the context of a team Analytical, with an ability to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at well engineered solutions Motivated to learn and contribute technical and product solutions and ideas to a broad team
Requirements
- Degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years (Associate) of experience with Java or other related Object Oriented development language
- Experience with microservices architecture and API development
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
- Ability to establish trusted partnerships with cross functional team members and product owners
Nice To Haves
- Source Control Management systems (i.e., SVN, Git)
- An understanding of common application architecture design patterns
- Experience working in an Agile environment
