About The Position

Duties: Work collaboratively within a global team to design, engineer and deliver high quality technology solutions to address the firm's liquidity risk requirements. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Senior Data Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Senior Data Analyst, or related occupation. Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Working with Linux environments, deploying applications and troubleshooting performance issues; designing and implementing application and data architectures for distributed and big data systems; developing and maintaining Tableau data sources and dashboards for analytics and data visualization; developing distributed and big data systems to process large data sets using Python or Scala, along with technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or AWS S3; developing applications and libraries using Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and distributed version control systems like Git; querying and analyzing data sets, including query optimization techniques in SQL; designing and developing scalable enterprise applications using Java; ensuring application quality and reliability by conducting unit testing using JUnit, integration testing, and performance testing; developing and implementing models for detecting data anomalies using machine learning. This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: Developing project strategy, direction, scope and priorities in partnership with the business and technology teams.
