  • Deliver high quality software that exceeds customer expectations
  • Actively participate in the development of User Stories
  • Develop features and functionality that meets user story acceptance criteria
  • Participate in technical design and code reviews
  • Creatively investigate and remediate customer facing issues and defects
  • Participate in ongoing software and process improvement initiatives that seek to reduce effort for our customers and ourselves
  • Develop and execute unit/integration tests
  • Engage with cross-functional teams that may include Architects, Developers, Q/A, and Product Management, Project Management, Support and Operations personnel
  • Demonstrate solutions to a diverse audience, including business leaders and customers in Sprint Reviews
  • Develop expertise in the retail pharmacy, and clinical services domains as well as McKesson products and services
  • Align with customers to research and understand customer issues and develop creative solutions that exceed expectations
  • Learn and understand the pharmacy domain and the unique challenges our customers face to develop solutions that help patients live healthier lives
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years' experience in software engineering
  • 3+ years' experience with Java / Object-Oriented software engineering and RESTful services
  • 3+ years' experience with relational databases (such as Oracle) and Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Experience with RESTful API architecture and development
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a commercial software development team
  • Experience with developing and designing software applications
  • Knowledge of the 12 principles of the Agile Manifesto
  • Experience working in a software development team with Scrum, Kanban
  • Proven ability to drive activities to closure while pursuing excellence
  • Ability to learn and implement new technologies and processes
  • Knowledge of web development and an MVC framework such as Angular
  • Knowledge of web services and corresponding frameworks such as Spring Boot
  • Hunger for personal and professional growth; as an individual and as an organization
  • Knowledge of Angular is a plus
