KeepTabz: Software Engineering Intern
About The Position
Every day, your competitors are making moves. They’re launching AI agents, changing their pricing, and sunsetting products to move up -market. Most companies try to trackthis with 83 open browser tabs and messy spreadsheets, and they’re still losing 30% of deals to direct competitors. KeepTabz is the AI -powered "command center" that fixes this. We monitor every move — from social posts and SEO shifts to terms of service changes — and push the high -signal intelligence directly to Slack, Discord or Teams so you’re never blindsided. KeepTabz was founded in 2025, has raised $250K in early investment, and is currently being used by 15 B2B software companies across the world. Our mission is to democratize competitive intelligence, so we hope to 100X that number by the end of 2026. We’re looking for a detail -oriented, curious Software Engineering Intern to join our team in San Antonio and help us build the product that turns competitive intelligence from a chore into a superpower. You won’t be doing busywork. You’ll be working directly with our Co -founder and CTO, Vitalii Melnychuk — who has 11+ years of experience building ecommerce and data products, AI systems, data security solutions, and scaling global apps to millions of users at companies like FarFetch, Reflaunt, and Paddle8. He’s built and managed 3 engineering teams, and he’ll be your direct mentor. You’re a builder who cares about craft. You write clean TypeScript, you think about edge cases before they bite you, and you’re comfortable jumping between frontend and backend work. You probably tinker with AI tools on your own time because you find them genuinely interesting, not because someone told you to.
Responsibilities
- Bug Fixes & Code Quality: Triage, reproduce, and fix bugs across our Next.js frontend and API routes. Write tests to make sure they stay fixed.
- Feature Development: Build and ship improvements to the in -app experience that our customers actually ask for — better dashboards, smoother onboarding flows, clearer data visualizations.
- Database & Performance: Work with PostgreSQL (Supabase) to optimize queries, design schemas for new features, and keep our data layer clean and fast.
- API Integrations: Connect KeepTabz to new third -party data sources by building reliable API integrations using TypeScript and RESTful/GraphQL patterns.
- Web Crawlers & Scrapers: Design and maintain crawlers that pull competitive intelligence from public web sources — pricing pages, changelogs, job postings, review sites, and more.
- Data Pipeline Reliability: Monitor ingestion pipelines, handle edge cases, and make sure the data our customers rely on is accurate and fresh.
- AI Agent Development: Help build and refine the AI agents that power KeepTabz’s “Scan -Analyze -Alert -Act” workflow — from prompt engineering to orchestration logic.
- LLM Integration: Work with large language model APIs to improve how we score, summarize, and surface competitive signals to users.
- Evaluation & Iteration: Build evaluation harnesses to measure AI output quality and iterate quickly based on real customer feedback.
