About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for the development and scaling of a complex manufacturing technology platform. You will guide the team through full-stack development, from initial scoping to production reliability, while collaborating closely with product, design, and operations. The position combines hands-on technical oversight with strategic leadership, ensuring delivery excellence, operational efficiency, and high-quality software solutions. You will have the ability to shape engineering practices, mentor and grow team members, and influence the long-term architecture and culture of the organization. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager and 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Proven track record of leading teams through rapid growth in high-scale or startup environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to set and execute a strategic technical vision in dynamic, fast-paced contexts.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to challenge decisions, guide teams, and make pragmatic trade-offs.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across diverse functions.
  • Experience delivering product in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with a focus on user impact.
  • Proficiency with modern web development technologies such as React, GraphQL, Typescript, and Python.
  • Empathy for users, strong product sense, and bias toward action.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a full-stack engineering team, fostering a culture of high performance, trust, and collaboration.
  • Drive execution across the software stack, ensuring projects are delivered reliably and efficiently from conception to production.
  • Partner with Product, Design, and Operations to define priorities, deliver roadmap initiatives, and align engineering work with business goals.
  • Make informed technical decisions while balancing speed, maintainability, and quality.
  • Own team delivery, operational excellence, and accountability for systems and software products.
  • Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop engineers, promoting career growth and team cohesion.
  • Contribute to the evolution of engineering practices, architectural decisions, and organizational culture.
