So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us. We are looking for a hybrid engineer who loves hardware but speaks software. You will be the owner of the software ecosystem that powers our hardware team, maintaining and enhancing the critical tools we use to design and validate our SSD platforms.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • Strong Software Foundation: Proficiency in Python (for scripting/automation) and C/C++ (for low-level interaction), with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms. Basic database management for managing hardware telemetry is a bonus.
  • Software Development Best Practices: Experience with git, code reviews, and maintaining clean, documented codebases.
  • Hardware Literacy: Ability to read schematics, understand block diagrams, and comfortably navigate a hardware lab environment.
  • OS Fundamentals: Comfort working in a Linux environment, including shell scripting (Bash) and basic kernel/driver familiarity.
  • AI-Augmented Development: Proficiency in using AI-driven tooling to accelerate software development

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain internal software repositories: Manage the lifecycle of various small-to-medium software projects used for hardware validation, debug, and manufacturing.
  • Develop hardware-facing tools: Write and optimize scripts and utilities to interact with SSD hardware, automate testing, and parse telemetry data.
  • Improve engineering efficiency: Refactor legacy code and implement modern software practices (CI/CD, code review, documentation) within the hardware team.
