SQAD LLC Software Product Dev QA Analyst in Tarrytown, New York
POSITION: Software Product Dev QA Analyst
LOCATION: Evanston, IL
Our FUN!, people-focused, solution-driven company is growing, and were looking for just the right person to join our Software Product Development team as a QA Analyst. This is a full-time position in our Evanston office with lots of opportunities to flex your creativity and teamwork skills.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Learn and Understand
Learn our process and actively participate in continuous process improvement.
Learn our software products and develop a comprehensive understanding of our users.
Review specifications and designs to fully understand product deliverables (features, enhancements, and bug fixes).
1. Apply Knowledge. Contribute to and collaborate with Team.
Help prepare and execute a well-defined and realistic QA plan for each release to quickly identify critical issues in the design and implementation and to maintain product quality.
Approach tasks with rigor to ensure functionality, performance, accuracy, reliability, and stability.
Investigate, isolate, replicate, and report defects in our deliverables.
Collaborate with SQAD Team to identify, implement, and verify solutions.
Manage priorities and tasks using TFS. Document activities, pertinent information, time, and history for all testing.
1. Communicate quality standards, objectives, and product defects.
Create, organize, and maintain testing artifacts for product deliverables based on specifications, designs, reviews, product knowledge, and verbal communications.
Review QA plans and testing scripts with cross-functional team members.
Clearly communicate issues so they can be addressed efficiently and effectively.
1. Develop as an Individual and as part of the SQAD Team
Prepare for and participate in Daily Standup, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, and Tasking
Be adaptive and flexible. Laugh in the face of frustration - knowing that there are people in the world with so little hope that they dont have the opportunity to experience frustration.
Promote quality as an integral part of the development process. Make recommendations to enhance our product or process in order to meet customer needs and maintain quality.
