The HPC market is changing like never before with advances in compute, networking, and storage technologies and the explosive growth of applications such as data analytics and machine learning. Cray is seeking a leader for the software product management team to build software roadmaps and winning solutions for Cray supercomputing products. You will be responsible for driving a successful, long term software strategy that makes our existing customers successful and our new customers excited to move to Cray products. You will help build and manage a team of experienced professionals to coordinate all aspects of a comprehensive software ecosystem. The software product management leader is responsible for developing the Cray core software strategy including how to monetize software investments. You will motivate and mobilize a cross-functional team to identify and prioritize customer requirements, establish high ROI business cases, and develop roadmaps to accelerate Cray's momentum in this rapidly growing market. The charter for this team includes: Developing software roadmaps ranging from strategies on operating systems to systems management, security, system analytics, and Cloud. Coordination with strategic technology vendors Engaging our most valuable customers to identify requirements Collaboration with R&D leaders to convert customer requirements into executable product roadmaps Evolving the products during their life cycle to maintain our competitive edge Requirements Qualifications: Who are you, and what will make you succeed at Cray? History of building high performance teams and retaining top talent.
