About The Position

The Software Service Training Specialist develops and delivers training content, focusing on both eLearning and instructor-led training delivery to global support, installation, and upgrade audiences whilst following all elements for the ADDIE instructional design methodology. Software Service Training Specialists create content across the Elekta product portfolio. This specifically also includes the creation of courses and supporting course materials, eLearning, video-based learning elements and the delivery of software learning content to global internal audiences through a variety of different methods, which include classroom instruction and virtual classroom delivery. For eLearning development, the Software Service Training Specialist will engage with other SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) as appropriate. For classroom delivery, personal upskilling and a deep understanding of the product / solution in question is required. Software Service Training Specialists will work in close collaboration with Software Service Training Leads to input into Training Plans and deliver required training artefacts to time and quality. Software Service Training Specialists will also be responsible for the ongoing deployments, deletions, hygiene and maintenance of specific E&T Cloud master images.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree or diploma in Instructional Design, Education OR IT-related qualifications OR demonstrable knowledge comparable to this requirement
  • Solid and demonstrable knowledge of the use, deployment or maintenance of Elekta’s software products & solutions desired, gained through 3+ years’ experience in either a Support, Installation, Upgrade or comparable role. Expertise in either the technical or application/workflow domain required.
  • Technical knowledge must extend to demonstrable broad knowledge of enterprise architecture – familiarity with basic network setup, Microsoft Workstation and Server Operating Systems, Virtualization Technologies, Enterprise Networking OR demonstrable aptitude & willingness to upskill in these areas.
  • Application/workflow knowledge must extend to a demonstrable broad understanding of Radiotherapy requirements & workflow across one or multiple products or solutions in the Elekta portfolio
  • Experience with instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies (andragogy) desired
  • Experience with creating content in rapid authoring environment such as Rise 360 desired
  • Experience with creating & editing video content in environments such as Camtasia desired
  • Experience with the use of, deployment of content to and creation of courses within Learning Management Systems desired
  • Experience in delivering complex content in a classroom or virtual delivery environment desired
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure comparable to AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals) desired
  • Experience with Citrix Cloud virtualization technologies desired
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerShell scripting language desired
  • Proven ability to break down, document and talk about complex issues required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven strong analytical and problem-solving abilities required
  • Proven ability to work in a team and across time zones and cultures required
  • Excellent written & spoken professional business English skills required
  • Availability & eligibility for overnight travel domestic and international required

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training content following the ADDIE instructional design methodology and in line with the SSTS content creation guidelines & processes. This can contain both technical content (for the installation, upgrade & troubleshooting of the product/solution) and application/workflow content (on the use of the product/solution).
  • Plan and document content development & delivery activities in the appropriate Monday.com boards in line with SSTS work instructions and as instructed by the Software Service Training Manager
  • Conduct virtual and in-person training sessions for global audiences
  • Work closely with SSTS Training Solution Leads to input into training plans & align deliverables with release dates & audience upskilling needs
  • Create eLearning modules in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts
  • Create videos, screen recordings & animations as required
  • Where virtual environment artefacts are required by the content creation analysis & process, create, update and maintain virtual training images in E&T Cloud solution
  • Maintain and update training materials based on product updates and participant feedback and in line with the ADDIE instructional design framework
  • Support multiple product lines and solutions as directed by Solution Leads undefined
  • Manage the deployment of learning artefacts to Elekta’s Learning Management System
  • Manage the recording of attendance for instructor-led classroom & virtual courses in the Learning Management Systems and the appropriate SSTS Monday.com boards in line with SSTS work instructions and as instructed by the Software Service Training Manager
  • Qualify for and maintain the ‘Content Developer’ and ‘Instructor’ roles in Elekta’s Management System
  • Use defined communication channels to notify core audiences & stakeholders of new learning & upskilling opportunities
  • Deploy, troubleshoot and delete E&T Cloud virtual training systems as instructed by the Software Service Infrastructure & Cloud Lead and in line with SSTS E&T Cloud-specific work instructions
  • Perform ongoing hygiene & maintenance operations in E&T Cloud systems as instructed by the Software Service Infrastructure & Cloud Lead and in line with SSTS E&T Cloud-specific work instructions
