SAIC needs a Software Systems Engineer to support Army Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) training solutions with the Joint Technology Center/Systems Integration Laboratory (JSIL) located onsite at Redstone/Huntsville, AL. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Designing and implementing solutions that meet requirements for UAS training solutions in the scope of software systems configuration, network implementation, and system deployment methodologies. Developing and testing the deployment of a system of systems; and documenting the steps necessary to reproduce that process consistently in support of various Army Trainers. Will perform requirements analysis of the multiple PM UAS platforms and identification of applicable requirements, gaps, or improvements for the MUSE and simulation related products MUSE integration, functional verification, and regression testing with the command and control (C2), C4I, and Vehicle Specific Modules (VSM) in the UGCS and UMS Advanced integration of wireless and cloud computing technologies with UGCS fielded and training systems Develop UGCS software installations procedures for Gray Eagle and other Army Trainer Projects on various systems Create automated personalization scripts for training systems Migrate/Adapt/Maintain UGCS networking and firewall configurations for training and simulation environments Create and maintain process/procedures across multiple training systems Create processes/procedures for emulator and training environments that follow standard system engineering processes Support Azure and Agile project management and source control/software testing environment
