About The Position
We are hiring an experienced Solar Electrician to support residential solar installations. This role does not require an electrical license, but strong hands-on experience with solar wiring, service equipment, and troubleshooting is essential. This is a piece-rate position, ideal for a fast, high-quality technician. Reliable personal transportation is required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a solar or residential electrician
- Ability to work safely and independently
- Strong understanding of solar electrical components and layouts
- Must have reliable transportation
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Complete solar electrical work, including wiring, terminations, grounding, conduit runs, and equipment mounting
- Assist with main panel upgrades, inverter installations, and system commissioning
- Troubleshoot electrical and solar system issues in the field
- Ensure all work meets NEC and company standards
- Communicate effectively with project managers, homeowners, and inspectors
