About The Position

Join Teledyne and bring precision to advanced electronics assembly! We’re seeking a Solder-Assembly Technician for our Exton, PA location. Schedule: 7am-3:30pm

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with PCB assembly and soldering techniques
Ability to solder and de-solder SMT and through-hole components
Familiarity with ESD handling requirements and electronic components
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Can perform repetitive tasks with attentiveness.
Must be able to effectively communicate and engage with all levels of the organization verbally and in writing.
Possesses intermediate computer skills including MS Office, Excel and Outlook.
Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees)

Nice To Haves

IPC 610/620/JSTD certifications
Six to twenty-four (6-24) months of industrial experience or similar training is preferred.
3+ years of soldering/assembly experience

Responsibilities

Perform precision soldering and de-soldering of SMT and through-hole components.
Assemble and inspect PCB assemblies per IPC-A-610 standards.
Operate and maintain soldering equipment, including soldering irons, hot air guns, and solder pots.
Work from drawings and process documentation to complete assemblies.
Operate SMT pick-and-place machines and prepare sub-assemblies for production.
Maintain accurate documentation and a clean work station.
