Partnering with government organizations, Solutions Architects are deeply
technical individuals. You'll successfully integrate and support mission
critical websites and applications. We collaborate with teams across our
business while providing an exceptional customer experience. You'll own the
technical implementation of our products. This will help customers optimize
their experience and value gained from their Akamai partnership.

Requirements

• Have U.S. CITIZENSHIP due to legal requirements of our customer base
• Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or its equivalent.
• Be comfortable working within a Linux command line environment within an Information Technology industry
• Understand customers' technical challenges and design, architect, configure and test solutions with remarkable attention to detail and time management
• Demonstrate understanding of working with network technologies, web development languages, methodologies and architectures
• Have a desire to solve complex technical challenges with innovative solutions

Responsibilities

• Partnering with customers to understand their technical and business needs, to ensure customer success
• Working closely with Akamai and customer teams to design the best solutions and implementation plans
• Collaborating with Professional Service team members to implement and execute best practice solutions for our customers
• Being an integral part of testing and live deployment of our solutions to ensure a smooth and timely integration for customers
• Owning technical aspects of solution delivery and ongoing support to configure, debug, document, test, go live, identify and mitigate risks
• Participating on internal projects to contribute to best practices, improving the quality of Akamai's integrations
