About The Position

This is a flexible position and has the option of working in our Toronto office full time, hybrid throughout the week or working entirely remotely. As a Solutions Architect, you are the technical lead on Vena implementations acting as the subject matter expertise on both domain and product knowledge for our customers, providing well-laid out design, and overseeing the technical delivery of the project performed by the project team.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience implementing CPM/Cloud FP&A solutions
  • Subject matter expertise for planning and reporting within the FP&A context
  • Demonstrated knowledge of formal implementation methodology (requirements gathering, solution design, etc.)
  • You are a creative thinker who finds ingenious ways to resolve business problems and finds it exciting, ensuring solutions perform well
  • You are a trusted advisor for the most recognized customers in the world, helping them to achieve their business goals
  • Strong organization skills and able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design of Vena implementation projects, ensuring best practices are applied and solutions will be adopted by customers.
  • Support the project team during configuration and testing, identifying and communicating key risks along the way.
  • Facilitate workshops with customers to elicit business and technical requirements, aligning these with project scope and budget.
  • Analyze and translate existing solutions, spreadsheets and business problems into holistic, well-designed and architected solutions using the Vena platform
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to customers in areas such as change management, business process design, process improvements and analytics
  • Evaluate existing solutions in customer tenants to identify optimizations or enhancements that drive more value for the customer
  • Deliver high levels of customer service, over-delivering on customer expectations
  • Provide meaningful, timely feedback and progress updates to the project team including project sponsor, project manager and consultants
  • Conduct internal enablement sessions to upskill the Professional Services team in domain, product and other PS-related knowledge.
  • Foster a strong relationship with Product Management to provide product feedback, advocate for customers and prepare PS team to use newly released features
  • Travel (as required) to client sites
