About The Position

Abrigo provides technology that community financial institutions use to manage risk and drive growth. Our solutions automate key processes – from anti-money laundering to fraud detection to CECL readiness to lending workflows – empowering our customers by addressing their Enterprise Risk Management needs. As a Solutions Consultant, you will work in partnership with our acquisition and install base sales teams to drive sales of our products. You will become a subject matter expert and perform web-based demos as well as answer technical or business-related questions for prospects and customers. You need to be focused, detail oriented, and able to document your activities in Salesforce. The position includes light travel to trade shows and industry events where you may be required to do technical presentations. This individual will report to our Director of Solutions Consulting. This position will be remote or office based in Raleigh, NC or Austin, TX.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and at least 2+ years of experience as a technical sales professional
  • Dedicated technical sales background with an understanding and/or hands-on experience in application software as well as SQL, flat file layouts and mapping, basic scripting, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and creativity skills the ability to explain and present complex concepts in easy to understand manner
  • Ability to collaborate, roll-up-sleeves and have a strategic mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and easily develop relations with new people
  • Ability to learn quickly and exceed expectations
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Occasional travel required for team events to support engagement, relationship-building, and key decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre and post-sales technical fit sessions to determine whether we can integrate and the best method to pursue
  • Be the sales liaison for custom statements of work and own the process from scoping to approval
  • Conduct consultative on-line product demonstrations and address technical objections for the sales team
  • Answer technical questions from prospects and customers in support of the sales organization.
  • Complete RFPs for the sales organization
  • Understand specific business needs and explain how Abrigo products can solve them
  • Effectively communicate value proposition to a variety of audiences, from IT professionals to business owners and C-level executives
  • Participate in conferences and other events
  • Collect and relay product feedback to the engineering team to help shape the future roadmap
  • Document and manage activity using Salesforce.com
