About The Position

We are looking for a Solutions Leader for AI to join our Federal team within Public Sector supporting the National Capital Region (NCR) and globally.

We are seeking a hands-on, technically skilled AI Solutions Leader to join our Federal Sector Advisors team. This role is critical in helping WWT demonstrate the value of artificial intelligence to federal agencies through proof-of-concepts, working demos, and customized mission-oriented prototypes. You will work alongside AI and cyber-focused Advisors and collaborate closely with internal engineering, innovation, and ATC resources.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions, preferably in a federal or highly regulated environment.
• Understanding of  with Python and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, Hugging Face).
• Familiarity with MLOps tools, data engineering, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must have prior experience in supporting Federal customers; prior experience in supporting DoD customers strongly preferred
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; Must have ability to pass a Federal Security Clearance; active Security Clearance strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time with a possibility of up to 20%.
• Excellent “soft skills” to include verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, and technical sales skills. High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations, with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience supporting federal agencies or government integrators.
• Knowledge of the Federal Government mission across multiple agencies/departments is highly desired.
• Experience with edge AI, secure deployment, or classified environments.
• Familiarity with NIST AI Risk Management Framework or ethical AI guidelines.
• Active clearance (Secret or higher) a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build tailored AI/ML solutions and prototypes for federal customers based on mission needs.
• Develop technical demonstrations of AI capabilities, including LLM use cases, computer vision, automation, and more.
• Work with internal stakeholders to create scalable demo environments and reusable solution assets.
• Partner with the Advisory team during customer engagements to understand requirements and shape technical solution approaches.
• Translate federal mission problems into technical architectures and solution designs.
• Maintain awareness of the evolving AI landscape, OEM partnerships and WWT service capabilities 
• Help guide federal customers through AI evaluation processes, including ethical AI, security, and MLOps considerations.
• Develop sales enablement materials to support Federal specific needs, including presentations and case studies, to support AI opportunities.
• Drive the execution of demonstrable solutions leveraging the ATC for relevant use cases for our customers and partners
• Deliver customer presentations; respond to RFPs and RFIs; participate in and/or lead customer workshops, demos, proof of concepts, and assessments.
• Present and discuss complex technical details with engineers/architects and brief executive audiences.
