About The Position

As a solutions specialist for our power business unit, you’ll spend most of your time prospecting your assigned sales territory for new battery customers and opportunities. As a specialist, you will conduct customer needs analysis, provide proposals, demos, and provide outstanding customer service. You'll have access to subject matter experts for forklifts, commercial products, racking, docks, doors, automation, and other products within our overall solutions portfolio. You’ll partner with the broader power business unit team to ensure your customers continue to give high marks for service excellence because of our responsiveness, transparency, follow-through, and accountability. It’s a given that you’ll always operate with the highest level of integrity and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 2+ years progressive experience working in a Material Handling, industrial equipment or related B2B warehouse and product sales environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with employees, vendors, and customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure, shift priorities in a changing environment, be self-directed, and use good business judgment.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain records and stay current with administrative responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to act in a way that is consistent with our values.
  • Intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet research.
  • Clear DMV record, drug screen and background check and active CDL.

  • Source and provide the best battery solutions for new and existing customers.
  • Strive for professionalism, observing and complying with all Company regulations and policies.
  • Represent the Company loyally, faithfully, with honesty and integrity.
  • Sell the products and services within established Company prices and policies.
  • Maintain accurate and current customer profiles on all accounts.
  • Keep customer database current for each account and customer engaged.
  • Achieve annual sales volumes and gross profit goals each year.
