Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to use basic measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred (ultrasonic welding experience a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor sonic (ultrasonic) welding machines to join plastic or metal components according to specifications.
  • Production Support: Meet daily production goals by maintaining efficient workflow and minimizing downtime.
  • Quality Inspection: Inspect finished parts for weld strength, alignment, and cosmetic quality; identify and report defects or inconsistencies.
  • Setup & Changeovers: Perform tooling changes, machine adjustments, and parameter settings based on job requirements and work instructions.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify equipment or process issues and make minor adjustments or escalate concerns to maintenance or supervision.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete production records, quality logs, and job documentation.
  • Material Handling: Load raw materials and components into machines and safely handle finished goods.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on welding equipment.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and comply with company policies and manufacturing standards.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standards.
