In this role, you will develop and execute sourcing strategies that support margin improvement and operational performance across Veralto operating companies. You will analyze spend data, identify opportunities for consolidated negotiations, lead supplier selection and contract negotiations, and implement sourcing initiatives that drive measurable savings and improved supplier performance. This role will be managing a portfolio representing approximately $50 M to $100 M, and supporting Veralto’s broader profitability and operational excellence goals. This position is part of the Procurement team located in Waltham, MA, and will be hybrid in Waltham, MA, going 3 days onsite. In this role, a typical day will look like: Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across assigned indirect procurement categories, developing and executing category strategies that support cost improvement and operational performance. Drive sourcing projects and supplier negotiations, including leading RFIs/RFPs, evaluating suppliers, and implementing preferred supplier agreements. Identify cost savings opportunities by analyzing spend data, market trends, and supplier performance across operating companies. Support cross-business procurement initiatives, coordinating sourcing projects that deliver measurable savings and increased adoption of preferred suppliers. Manage supplier relationships and performance, ensuring suppliers meet operational, cost, and service expectations. Lead sourcing workshops and knowledge sharing initiatives to strengthen procurement capabilities and best practices across operating companies. Provide sourcing insights and guidance based on spend analytics and market intelligence to support budgeting and procurement planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing roles.
  • Experience leading sourcing initiatives, including supplier negotiations and strategic sourcing projects.
  • Experience conducting sourcing events such as RFIs, RFPs, or similar supplier bid processes.
  • Proficiency in business and analytical tools, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing indirect procurement categories or services-based sourcing.
  • Experience working in global or matrixed organizations.
  • Exposure to supplier performance management or contract management processes.
  • Experience supporting cost reduction or procurement improvement initiatives.
