As one of the world’s largest lift truck manufacturers, we are committed to providing the customer with the safest, most efficient and ergonomic lift truck possible to lower their total cost of ownership.  Job Posting External Job Duties Business System Functionality Execution - Develop strong understanding of business systems, supplier management processes, and data requirements to effectively support supplier engagement. Maintain accurate supplier and part master data to ensure seamless operations. Partner with suppliers to establish and uphold expectations for timely and accurate submission of data and documents. Cost Management and Quotation Support - Support quotation activities by preparing bid packages, collecting supplier responses, and participating in cost analyses. Contribute to tracking pricing and spend data for assigned commodities. Technical and Quality Collaboration - Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to support qualification and maintenance of approved suppliers. Help monitor part changes, deviations, or approvals in alignment with basic supply chain and product lifecycle needs. Supplier Management and Risk Mitigation - Maintain regular communication with assigned suppliers and monitor delivery and quality performance. Contribute to basic risk identification activities and assist with documentation for supplier approvals, corrective actions, and periodic reviews. Commercial Terms and Contracts - Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and service levels with suppliers. Provide support in preparing for supplier negotiations by gathering commercial and technical inputs. Review supplier quotes for completeness and document agreed terms. Strategic Sourcing Plan Execution - Assist in implementing sourcing strategies for assigned commodities by supporting tasks such as supplier research, data collection, and tracking progress on sourcing initiatives. Work with senior team members to understand category strategies and contribute to sourcing plans through documentation, coordination, and communication.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years related experience
  • Associate degree (Supply Chain or Business)
  • Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
  • Frequent travel and occasional overnight stays

Nice To Haves

  • Interpersonal, teamwork and negotiation aptitude skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Manufacturing Engineering or other technical experience.
  • CPSM, APICS, CIPS, or comparable training are also preferred.
