About The Position
Our client is a leading energy company seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join their Nuclear operations team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge nuclear technology while managing complex sourcing agreements and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of sourcing experience with specific expertise in the nuclear industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA highly preferred)
- 5+ years of sourcing experience with demonstrated success
- In-depth knowledge of the Nuclear industry, specifically engineering-related aspects
- Proven ability to independently manage complex sourcing agreements
- Strong negotiation and commercial terms optimization skills
- Experience with strategic sourcing and cost reduction initiatives
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills

- MBA highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Execute complex sourcing processes and implement sourcing policies and programs
- Develop and execute sophisticated sourcing agreements with unique terms and conditions
- Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance evaluation initiatives
- Drive cost optimization and strategic sourcing initiatives
- Conduct comprehensive supplier relationship management and industry analysis
- Perform in-depth supplier performance analysis and contract management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business units and key suppliers
- Ensure all business dealings comply with corporate, legal, and environmental regulations
