Requirements

  • Holds a High School Diploma or GED
  • Exhibits 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume operation while leading by example
  • Excels in coaching, motivating, and fostering a positive team culture
  • Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Train and mentor Lead Cooks, Cooks, Pantry Workers, and Helpers on daily responsibilities
  • Ensure food quality is superior, taking corrective action when needed
  • Oversee requisitions, receiving, and inventory while maintaining accurate labeling and dating of products
  • Maintain knowledge and preparation of base sauces, stocks, and soups
  • Communicate with management and service staff to address guest and employee needs
  • Assist the Executive Room Chef with purchasing, scheduling, and setting kitchen goals focused on profit, product, and people
  • Support compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
