About The Position

We are an exciting new restaurant now open in Raleigh, NC, and we’re looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen and help shape a bold, elevated dining experience for our guests. About the Role: As Sous Chef, you’ll partner closely with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and team performance—while also contributing your creativity to menu development and execution.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in a high-volume, professional kitchen, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
Solid culinary skills and a passion for high-quality food
Proven ability to manage a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Chef with kitchen leadership and back-of-house operations
Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence
Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to a high standard
Help develop and implement seasonal menus and specials
Monitor inventory levels, manage food costs, and ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations
Foster a collaborative, respectful, and high-performing kitchen culture
