We are seeking a Sous Chef who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and brings both culinary talent and operational discipline to the table. Requirements

  • 2- 4+ years of experience in a high-volume professional kitchen; catering or events experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple timelines while maintaining composure and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • A solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to lead calmly under pressure
  • Passion for seasonal, thoughtful, and well-executed food
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as dictated by event schedules
  • Valid driver’s license (multiple venues supported)
  • Comfortable using kitchen-related technology and basic computer systems

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Executive Chef to execute menus with consistency, creativity, and efficiency
  • Lead daily kitchen operations, including production planning, prep oversight, and event execution
  • Supervise and guide kitchen staff during production days, tastings, and on-site events
  • Oversee corporate drop-off catering production, ensuring accuracy, timing, and presentation standards
  • Uphold all food quality, sanitation, and safety standards across production and service
  • Assist with ordering, inventory management, and vendor coordination
  • Train, mentor, and support kitchen team members, fostering accountability and professional growth
  • Step seamlessly into service and production needs; this is a hands-on leadership role
