About The Position

As a Spa Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Spa, Fitness Center, and Retail Sales, setting the stage for an exceptional guest experience. You will deliver outstanding services and create memorable experiences by understanding each guest's unique story and needs. By taking ownership of their journey, you’ll create WOW moments that guests will carry with them long after their stay with us.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of spa treatment protocols; equipment and facility standards; spa product lines; fitness equipment and industry trends; as well as appointment systems and booking strategies
  • Familiarity with general health and sanitation regulations
  • Strong strategic planning, project management skills and superior decision-making while managing multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while upholding a positive attitude to interact effectively with guests, management, and team member
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
  • Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a spa supervisory or management role

Responsibilities

  • Operate a smooth, efficient, and cost-effective operation, including labor management, supervision of all aspects of services, and inventory control
  • Manage Spa/Salon/Fitness Centers/Retail Sales staff to ensure they adhere to and enforce company policies, while being alert to their duties and responsibilities
  • Respond to guest service interactions in a professional and timely manner
  • Create and adjust staff schedules and floor operation, in conjunction with Workforce Management and Collective Bargaining Agreements (where applicable)
  • Responsible for department staffing to include interviewing and selecting internal and external candidates, training, coaching/counseling and termination decisions, and/or making changes to an employee’s schedule or status.
  • Instruct new hires and employees on expectations and responsibilities for each role
