About The Position

Quantum Space is redefining mobility and maneuverability in space. Our high-mobility spacecraft platforms support national security, civil, and commercial missions with unmatched flexibility and propulsion capability. We build fast and iterate quickly. We are seeking a Space Element Program Manager to lead cost, schedule, and technical execution for advanced spacecraft and propulsion elements supporting missile defense and national security space programs, including a host vehicle, mission payload vehicle, and liquid propulsion stages. This role is accountable for delivery and cross-functional execution from design through build, integration, test, and mission readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of aerospace program management experience on complex systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver hardware and flight systems.
  • Experience driving schedules, budgets, and execution discipline.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including ITAR, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual per 8 U.S. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Nice To Haves

  • Space vehicle, interceptor, or missile defense program experience.
  • Experience with rapid development programs and aggressive execution timelines.
  • Active U.S. security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Own cost, schedule, and technical performance for integrated spacecraft and propulsion elements supporting national security missions.
  • Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, integration, and test.
  • Drive integrated plans, milestones, and delivery commitments across multiple vehicle elements.
  • Identify program risks and implement mitigation plans to maintain schedule and performance.
  • Support technical reviews, customer engagements, and internal program reporting.
