Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in manpower and personnel management, including strategic workforce planning, assignments, accountability, and personnel lifecycle management
  • Experience with DoD policies and guidelines relating to manpower, personnel accountability, and operational readiness, such as DoDI 1400.25 or U.S. Space Force-specific processes
  • Experience managing personnel data systems , including AFPC platforms, MILPDS, and tools used for manpower tracking, reporting, and evaluations
  • Ability to assess manpower requirements and develop personnel recommendations for space operations and mission success
  • Ability to create assessments and reports tracking personnel readiness, qualifications, job placement, and resource allocation
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in manpower and personnel management, including strategic workforce planning, assignments, accountability, and personnel lifecycle management, preferably supporting defense or space-related operations
  • Experience supporting space units or organizations, such as USSF or USSPACECOM
  • Experience with unit manning and force structure analysis tailored to space operations, including personnel allocations for satellite operations, launch teams, or ground control
  • Experience with personnel management tools, such as DEERS, EHRI, SharePoint, and similar platforms tied to defense or space personnel functions
  • Experience adapting personnel readiness policies and plans for emerging space mission requirements, such as surge operations or rotational staffing for global space missions
  • Experience with workforce analytics tools and methodologies for predictive modeling of manpower trends
  • Ability to conduct joint or inter-agency personnel planning , integrating manpower considerations across operations that involve allied nations, contractors, or commercial space entities
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills for leading briefings, presenting workforce status updates to leadership, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Possession of excellent organizational and analytical skills
