SUMMARY We are seeking a highly motivated Spacecraft Integration Engineer I to support the full lifecycle of spacecraft assembly, integration, and testing. This role involves hands-on work in a cleanroom environment, developing assembly procedures, coordinating hardware deliveries, and leading environmental test campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spacecraft manufacturing, integration, and process optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 02 years of professional experience (internships, co-ops, or high-level academic projects count).
  • Experience with CAD software (NX preferred) and basic manufacturing documentation.
  • Exposure to hardware build, integration, or test activities through internships, research labs, or student projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship or project experience with spacecraft, launch vehicles, CubeSats, or similar hardware.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols or aerospace quality standards (AS9100).
  • Experience supporting environmental testing.
  • Exposure to ERP or manufacturing tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with GEVS or similar aerospace testing standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed assembly work instructions based on CAD designs to ensure precise spacecraft integration.
  • Perform hands-on spacecraft integration in a cleanroom environment, supporting the full lifecycle of vehicle build.
  • Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and product quality.
  • Drive the completion and management of spacecraft manufacturing documentation to ensure compliance and traceability.
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and ensure timely delivery of lower-level hardware to the cleanroom.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute off-site environmental testing and launch campaigns, ensuring spacecraft readiness.
