About The Position

Spanish Teacher Windham SAU# 95 Windham, NH 2026-2027 School Year Windham Middle School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Spanish teacher to join our World Languages department for the 26/27 school year. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in the Spanish language and culture, effective instructional strategies for developing communicative competence, and a passion for creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences. The successful educator will design and deliver instruction that: Aligns with ACTFL proficiency targets and district curriculum goals. Integrates comprehensible input and real-world communication. Incorporates Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to support diverse learners. Uses technology effectively to enhance instruction and student engagement. Collaboration with colleagues through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) is an essential part of this role to ensure students experience cohesive and connected language learning opportunities. Above all, the teacher will foster a positive and respectful classroom environment, demonstrating professionalism, cultural awareness, and a commitment to helping students grow as confident communicators.

Requirements

  • NH Certification (or eligibility for certification) in Spanish as required by the New Hampshire Department of Education.
  • Strong command of the Spanish language and understanding of language acquisition best practices.

  • Experience working with middle school students preferred.
