About The Position

To ensure a flawless Orion Assembly launch and support our goal of 100% equipment uptime, a dedicated Spare Parts Coordinator is required to own the planning, availability, and flow of critical replacement parts. This role will provide a single point of accountability for aligning Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and Purchasing around a robust spare parts strategy, minimizing unplanned downtime risk during launch and early ramp. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining the critical spare parts list for all launch assets, setting appropriate min/max levels, driving readiness of suppliers, and actively monitoring consumption and lead times to prevent stockouts. By proactively managing spare parts availability and coordinating responses to emerging issues, the Spare Parts Coordinator will protect launch stability, avoid lost jobs and variable profit, and enable Maintenance to focus on fast, effective repairs rather than expediting parts. The Spare Coordinator at General Motors LLC will be responsible for optimizing the availability and management of spare parts to support manufacturing operations, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient production processes.
