About The Position
Adelphi is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with disabilities in a school setting located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The ideal candidate will assist teachers in implementing individualized instruction and supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and life-skills development.
Requirements
- Associate degree preferred
- Experience supporting students with special needs preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with special needs
- Assist teachers in implementing IEPs and instructional plans
- Support classroom behavior management and student engagement
- Assist students with academic tasks and life-skills development
- Communicate student progress to teachers and service providers
- Support daily activities including feeding, mobility, or personal care if required
- Maintain classroom organization and learning materials
- Other duties as assigned
