About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (Resource) to join our team in empowering middle and high school students in a high-achieving school community through the end of the 2025-2026 school year! Position Overview: Deliver specialized, small-group instruction in core content areas, with a specific emphasis on supporting students in Math and Science for grades 6-12. Oversee a dedicated caseload, ensuring all IEP documentation, service logs, and progress reports are meticulously maintained and compliant. Develop and implement modified lesson plans that align with core middle and high school curricula while meeting individual student learning goals. Partner with the Special Education and general education team to ensure seamless service delivery and student success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Valid Special Education and Content Area/Generalist Certification (Grades 6-12)
- Active Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Proficiency in secondary core academic subjects
