About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking a dynamic Special Education Teacher to join a high-achievement team dedicated to inclusive excellence and inspire K–5 students to reach their full potential through the end of the 2025-2026 school year! Position Overview: Provide academic support in core K–5 subjects across settings ranging from small resource groups to 1:1 support or self-contained life skills classrooms. Support students with learning disabilities, cognitive, or behavioral challenges with dedicated paraprofessional assistance. Lead the development and implementation of IEPs while meticulously documenting service delivery and student progress. Partner with the larger Special Education team to ensure a cohesive, supportive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Valid Texas Special Education Certification covering K–5 grade levels
  • Generalist Certification for grades K–5
  • Valid Texas fingerprint clearance card (FAST)
