About the position

Ashland Public School in Ashland, MT is looking to hire a motivated, K-8 Certified Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with disabilities, ensuring that they have access to a quality education in a supportive environment. Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to K-8 students with disabilities
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student needs and progress
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the district

Requirements

• Certification in Special Education
• Montana Teaching license or ability to obtain one
• Ability to pass a background check
